Rihanna To Debut New Fashion Line!

Next month Rihanna will premiere her first clothing line at London Fashion Week. Joining forces with River Island, the Barbadian beauty confirmed the appearance in a press release, saying, “Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me.”

She also said, “I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!’”

According to MTV, it was Rihanna who reached out to the brand about working together last July.

“We’re so pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with Rihanna. Yep, she will be designing her first clothing range exclusively for River Island,” they said in the first announcement. “We’re all huge fans of Rihanna’s style here at River Island so you can imagine how flattered we were when she approached us about working together and bringing our fashion experience to her range.”

In December, the hit maker gave her fans a sneak peek at her work when she posted a picture of a few pieces after a day on set on Instagram with the caption, “My bitches so Bvalgari… Just directed my first ad campaign for my new collection with River Island, Spring/Summer 2013!!”
