[Watch] American Idol Airs Minaj and Carey Fight!

Last night, American Idol finally revealed the overly hyped much talked about fight between the Idol judges – a fight that actually halted filming of the show after Nicki Minaj infamously walked off the set!

As HipHollywoodfirst reported back in October, tempers flared on the judges panel when Minaj took offense to how Carey, Jackson, and Urban questioned one contestant’s “country music” audition.

Minaj accused the trio of “picking her apart,” and “trying to force her to claim something” while Carey and Jackson insisted that they were “trying to help” the contestant.

While the entire judges panel got involved in the heated debate, things were definitely more strained between the two divas in the bunch.  After Minaj advised the other judges that they needed “to watch the tape back” to see where she was coming from, Carey quipped:

“Really? Is that what you do?  Really?  So you watch the tape back every night?  Ok.”

A frustrated Minaj finally exclaimed:

“You’re right. I can’t help her.  Maybe I should just get off the f**king panel… I’m over it.”
