Dorner Standoff!

4:50PM PST-press conference- entire area is surrounded by law enforcement. Since the fire, there has been no gunfire. Second Deputy is in surgery and expected to survive. Critical that the situation ends as soon as possible.

4:37PM PST- Cabin where Dorner was allegedly barricaded is on fire. Unsure if Dorner escaped.

4:20PM PST- press conference- San Bernardino Co. Deputy confirmed dead.

The manhunt for ex-LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner has swept the nation — and today, there are hopes it might come to an end.

At 12:22pm San Bernardino Sheriffs Office received a call about a stolen vehicle in the Big Bear area by someone who appeared to look like Dorner. Officers were able to spot the vehicle, but the suspect was able to jump out of the car and make his way into the woods of Big Bear. The suspect appeared to have barricaded himself in a Cabin and began shooting at officers — engaging in serious gun fire.

The ex-LAPD officer is a trained sniper, and is reported to have heavy duty fire arms. New reports of four officers shot during gunfire, two were air lifted to a nearby hospital. Right now officers have Dorner cornered –streets blocked off and multiple agencies on scene.
