Rihanna Sets Off London Fashion Week!

With New York Fashion Week all wrapped up, it’s time for London Fashion Week to began. And while LFW is famous for revealing the collections of iconic British designers Burberry and Vivienne Westwood, this time the world has their eyes set on the OFFICIAL unveiling of designing newbie, Rihanna!

After months of teasing and anticipation, the multi-talented Barbadian is finally ready to kick off LFW with her first fashion collection collabo with River Island. The British Fashion Council is calling it the “most anticipated collaboration of 2013.”

Rihanna can barely contain her own excitement! Three days ago she tweeted:

Known as much for her fashion game as she is for her music, mayhem, and model looks, Rihanna has confessed that designing was “something [she] wanted to do ever since [she] started loving fashion.” In a preview trailer of her collection she said, “the only way I could do that [design fashion] is by designing the perfect thing for me.”

That ‘Rihanna reign’ will take over the London runway on February 16. The collection will be available for sale to the general public on March 5th.
