More Drama: Mary J. Blige Hit With A $900,000 Tax Lien

The “rainy dayz” are not yet over for R&B songstress Mary J. Blige.  Fresh off of TWO lawsuits (for allegedly defaulting on two separate bank loans) the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” has just been hit with a $900,000 tax lien by the State of New Jersey!

According to official documents, New Jersey is claiming that Mary J. owes $901,769.65 in back taxes.

This is the lastest drama in a string of bad money problems for Blige.  In addition to the above mentioned personal lawsuits against her and her husband, Martin Issacs, last year Blige’s charity FFRAWN was also targeted for the mismanagement of donation funds.

HipHollywood caught up with the songstress and asked her how she handled stress of all of her recent negative press.  She replied:

“There’s really nothing you can say about the negative things that are in the media about you, all you can do is just keep pushing, keep your head up and just let people be people.”

We hope that Blige will “keep pushing” past this latest setback, and will be able to clear up her tax lien soon.  The tax man is REAL ya’ll!
