Exclusive: Kim Kardashian Gets Her Date … In Divorce Court

Kim Kardashian will finally have her day in divorce court. This morning, a Los Angeles judge set the trial date for her divorce proceedings from estranged husband, Kris Humphries. The couple will officially square off on May 6th, well over a year since their October 2011 split.

The upcoming court date comes near the start of the NBA playoffs, which Kris’ lawyer argued might make his client unavailable for proceedings. Kim’s attorneys have claimed that Kris is stalling on divorcing the reality beauty, and just earlier this month, argued that the Kim’s baby might be impacted by the stress of ongoing battle.

Still, the judge remarked that if Kris’ Brooklyn Nets do make the playoffs, it would be something to worry about, but that bridge would not be crossed now.
