Fresh off a Grammy win, and with a tour with Alicia Keys underway, R&B crooner Miguel is on a roll!
The multi-talented singer showcases another side of himself in his new video for “Candle in the Sun,” a song that veers from his usual panty-dropping themes into social issues. Showing his versatility both musically and visually, Miguel wanted to present this video in black and white. Miguel thanked director Sarah McColgan for bringing his vision to life:
Just want to thank @sarahmccolgan again for her passion in Directing this video for “Candles in the Sun…”

About the song itself, Miguel had this to say:
“It’s so easy to ignore what’s right in front of us sometimes. I wanted to create a song and visual that addressed myeveryday concerns of life as I know it in the world that we live in.”
