Chris Bosh Grilled By Reporters About Lil Wayne

Chris Bosh has clearly chosen to take the high road in the drama surrounding Lil Wayne’s claims of sleeping with his wife Adrienne.  Bosh’s silence on the whole situation thus far has been noticeable…at least enough that recently some sports reporters tried to force his hand.

According to one reporter from the South Florida Sun Sentinel, when Bosh appeared at a Miami Heat press conference with some fellow teammates yesterday, he found himself the target of a litany of questions concerning Lil Wayne’s comments about his wife.   Luckily for Bosh, teammate Rashard Lewis was also present, and had Bosh’s back.  Fielding any questions about Bosh’s private life, Lewis told reporters:

“This is about basketball.”

‘Nuff said.  Thanks to Lewis, Bosh was able to avoid an awkward response for another day…but how long will that last?  Since Lil Wayne’s ill-timed accusation, others have stepped forward to link Adrienne Bosh to other names in the rap and sports industries (the latest rumor out claims that Adrienne had a relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr. as well).

To make matters worse, Lil Wayne has since refused to retract his comments, or apologize to Chris and Adrienne Bosh.

Is Bosh doing the right thing by refusing to respond?  Or should he be coming to his wife’s defense when others are dragging her name through the mud?
