If you’re wondering who Jessica Chastain is bringing to the Oscars this Sunday, it just may be her grandmother … again!
HipHollywood recently sat down with Chastain, who is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Zero Dark Thirty, and she told us all about the fun she and her grandmother had at last year’s Oscars. ”I was partying with my grandma sipping champagne at the Oscars last year. We had so much fun.”
Last year, Chastain was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Help.
This year she’s up against Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour), Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of The Southern Wild), Naomi Watts (The Impossible).
But, Chastain told us more than anything she just wants people to see the film and understand her characters journey to capture Osama Bin Laden. ”Most important thing is I want people to see this movie. I love this character so much not only because she what she has done for this country but this amazing historical event and I want people to be introduced to her.”
