Aww Kanye…he’s not done yet.
The rant that started off in London last weekend, West inexplicably carried on in Paris last night. Appropriately rocking a straitjacket onstage, West launched yet another 10 minute gripe about the industry, following his performance of G.O.O.D Music hit “Clique.”
Although he, thankfully, didn’t drop as many names as many names this time, West did complain about being “boxed out” by the media, and described himself as a “real n–ga in Paris.” (Like you didn’t see THAT one coming!)
West’s Paris rant was much more Yeezy-centric, with the rap star calling himself the Picasso, Michaelangelo, Basquiat, and Steve Jobs of the music industry. He went on to add:
“F–k the name. All that matters is what you want to do. Cuz little do they know, you CAN do what you want. No matter how they try to control you, or try to peer pressure you, or try to get the best of you, or see what you did and try to take the rest of you – you can do what you want!”
There you have it folks, deep wisdom from Kanye West. Either the charmed life of a rap star is not all it’s cracked up to be, or Yeezy is experiencing a bad case of that ‘male sympathy pregnancy syndrome’ we heard about. Watch the rant below, and let us know which one you think it is!
