Gloria Govan: I’ll Never Do Basketball Wives Again!

Basketball Wives LA star Gloria Govan has revealed to HipHollywood that she will not be returning for a third season of the show.

We caught up with Govan and her husband Matt Barnes at the world premiere of The Call on Tuesday night. That’s where Govan talked about her future on the program. “I think it’s about time I leave that show,” she dished, adding, “I probably, most likely, will not be on Basketball Wives again.”

Late last year, sources close to production revealed to HH that Gloria, her sister Laura and Malaysia Pargo were being cut from the cast and would not appear on future seasons. But Govan expressed to us that she’s unsure if there will even be another season. “We haven’t been picked up for a third season yet, so I’m not really sure where we are with it.”

Even if Govan doesn’t return, it sounds like she has enough things going to keep herself busy. “I’m excited for all the projects Matt and I have in the works … possibly our own show, we are working on a couple of things like that.”
