Ashanti Spotted In Front Of NYC Hotel Rocking A Fur Coat

Bundled up in fur, Ashanti was spotted outside her New York hotel Tuesday afternoon looking happier than ever. The singer rocked a cropped fur coat, a green and black printed dress with her hair pulled back in a slick ponytail, and a pop of pink on her lips.

The 32-year-old was all smiles while waving to the paparazzi — and we think we know why the singer was in such a chipper mood. The Long Island native has been promoting her new album Bravehart, as well as starring on the seventh season of Lifetime’s, Army Wives.

The singer-actress stopped by Good Day New York earlier this week to talk about her role on the hit drama.  “She’s a loveable character, and every woman on earth is going to relate to her. She’s sassy, pizazz and she’s still a mom, and she loves her kids, and is about making an amazing home life.”

HipHollywood also caught up with the R&B singer at the Grammy Awards, and got details on what we can expect from her new album.  “I’m going places that I haven’t gone on previous albums. My last album was in ’08, so I’ve definitely grown … I’ve been through a tremendous amount throughout these years … I poured a lot of it into the album.”
