Natina Reed Laid To Rest; Kurupt Pays For Funeral

Natina Reed’s funeral was held Saturday and Kurupt — the father of Reed’s 10-year-old son Tren — footed the bill for the service as well as for the gathering after, according to TMZ. In case you missed it, Natina was killed in Georgia on the night of October 26th after bring struck by a car. She was two days shy of her 32nd birthday.

TMZ reports that Tren will remain in Kurupt’s custody — like he has for the past four years — and that Kurupt hopes Tren will maintain a close relationship with Reed’s family. The funeral took place at Abundant Life Church in Lithonia, Georgia. And it looks like Tren braved it all with a warm smile.

T-Boz, Chilli, and Natina’s former group members from Blaque were also said to have been in attendance. Our thoughts go out to Natina’s family.
