Beyoncé just found a new reason to make “b–tches bow down.”
The Queen Bey has just signed an advertising deal with Swedish retail giant H&M that will further solidify her reign. As part of her campaign, Beyoncé is set to appear in television commercials, print ads and billboards for H&M this summer. What’s more is that she also had a hand in designing looks in the collection!
Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design at H&M, said that the summer collection is “full of [Beyoncé's] personal style. Collection pieces will include what Johansson described as “the perfect body-con dress,” a beach gown slashed to the thigh, high-waist shorts and a sleeveless shirt.
Beyoncé has already shot the commercial in Nassau, Bahamas. Of the commercial, which features her new track “Standing on the Sun,” Beyoncé had this to say:
“It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
The print and outdoor ads read, “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M,” referencing the title of her upcoming world tour. The summer collection will be available in H&M stores everywhere and online in May 2013.
