Kick Rocks: Woman Sues Jamie Foxx Over Busted Sidewalk

As Jamie Foxx will tell you, you have to be careful of who you invite over to your house these days.  Foxx is currently being sued by a woman who took a fall outside of his house, and claims HE’S the one to blame!

The woman, named Catherine Jones, filed the lawsuit against Foxx at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.  She claims that she attended a party at his house last year, and busted her a– on his sidewalk, seriously injuring herself.

Jones claims that Foxx negligently maintained his sidewalk, and therefore is responsible for her fall.  She’s suing Foxx for $10,000 in hospital expenses and other damages (which, if she fell down in front of Foxx and his friends, probably includes wounded pride).

$10,000 is a big hospital bill, unless Jones came in with broken bones and needing surgery (which she may have needed if she fell down in front of Foxx’s house…and kept on rolling down Hollywood Hills! ).   Still, as far as lawsuits go, it’s a relatively small amount, and Foxx can clearly afford it, so it’s kind of surprising that Jones is suing Foxx over this to begin with.
