Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Ice Cream Bandits?

Question. If Kim Kardashian and Kanye West enter your ice cream parlor and give you loads of publicity, are you supposed to charge them for the ice cream? This is exactly the scenario that allegedly happened in London last week.

According to Entertainment Wise, The Keeping Up With The Kardashians starlet headed into Haagen Dasz in Leicester Square on Friday night with boyfriend Kanye West — right before they headed to a club night at Movida. According to EW eyewitness, Kim and Kanye rocked up to the eatery just after 11pm, where they skipped the line with an employee saying to the woman in the front:

“Do you mind if I serve these people first?” Kim was ‘very polite’, saying: “Thank you for letting us get served. Sorry for jumping…”

Fans scrambled to get pictures of the couple, telling Kanye that they loved his songs. But he said: “I’m not posing.” He did reveal that his favorite ice cream, with a smile is, strawberries and cream. Apparently the couple left with ice cream in hand, but without handing over any cash, with the server saying: “They didn’t pay.”

An employee named Assa has now tweeted about the Kimye incident, writing: “Dear Kim Kardashian & Kanye West thank you for coming in HD, you could’ve at least payed for your ice-cream, regards the girl that served u (sic)!”

Wow. There are two sides to this! One could say that KimYe’s publicity was more than enough for the ice cream parlor and the food should’ve been a “thank you for gracing our place with your presence”. At least that’s how is works in Los Angeles. On the other hand, one could say it’s freakin Haggaz Dasz..they don’t need your publicity! A better way for the vanity couple to have approached this would’ve been to pay for everyone’s ice cream in the joint.
