It seems that Halle Berry and baby-daddy Gabriel Aubry have reached a sort of truce over the Thanksgiving altercation that sent Aubry to the hospital and to jail (not in that order).
Berry’s lawyer, Blair Berk, had this to say:
“The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”
Berk also said that the cease-fire statement was supported by Aubry’s lawyer Shawn Holley.
Both sides had to go to court to discuss the settlement terms with the same judge overseeing Berry and Aubry’s current custody battle over Nahla.
Although Berry and Aubry have reached an agreement over the incident, it is not clear whether or not the authorities will pursue the criminal charges against Aubry. Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez (aka “Fisticuffs”) had placed Aubry on citizen’s arrest, and Aubry was later booked for misdemeanor battery. However, because Aubry has no prior record, and was CLEARLY mollywhopped by Martinez
during the incident, sources say that it’s pretty likely that the case will disappear.
Thanksgiving was a bust, but hopefully Berry, Martinez, and Aubrey can hold it together long enough not ruin Nahla’s Christmas.
