Jermaine Dupri, Kriss Kross Announce 20 Year Anniversary Concert!

It’s the return of Kriss Kross!

Well, the semi-return. We can’t believe it’s been TWENTY years since So So Def Recordings introduced the Atlanta music scene to the world with Jermaine Dupri, Kriss Kross, Xscape, Bow Wow, Jagged Edge and Da Brat. The label will celebrate 20 years of hit-making music at an All-Star Anniversary Concert on February 23 at the Fox Theater, announced founder/CEO Dupri at a press conference today at City Hall.

Flanked by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Jagged Edge, Da Brat, Kris Kross, Dem Franchize Boyz, Bonecrusher, Xscape, Dondria and veteran music executive Michael Mauldin, Dupri explained that the reunion concert will be a “rare moment in music” when various past and present So So Def artists and music contributors will come together on one stage for one night only.

A 20-song Best of So So Def compilation CD is also in the works for a June release. Concert tickets go on sale Saturday, January 19th and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.
